San Antonio in Photographs Tour

San Antonio - Bexar County Courthouse

San Antonio is one of the top destinations in Texas. It’s not only a gorgeous city, but it offers so much to do and see. Not to mention history buffs, adventure seekers and families will all find things to make them happy! I have put together this San Antonio in Photographs tour to inspire your next vacation.

San Antonio features well preserved historic buildings, the fabulous Riverwalk and top theme parks, like SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Additionally you will find numerous parks, green spaces, and hiking and biking trails. Plus there are so many excellent restaurants, food trucks, and breweries to choose from.

Also, while this great city is known for the Alamo, there are actually four more Missions to explore. As an added bonus, they are all part of the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. This means each mission is free to visit and explore. Even the Ranger-led tours are free to enjoy. You can find out more information about the park here. There are plenty of budget friendly things to do in the city.

If you are in Texas or will be visiting between now and 2024, then you must check this out! Created by world-renowned French artist Xavier de Richemont, San Antonio | The Saga is projected on the façade of the San Fernando Cathedral, the oldest operating sanctuary in North America, in downtown San Antonio. Experience the rich history of the Alamo City with the visually stunning and musical presentation. Not to mention the exhibit is FREE! You can see shows each Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through 2024.
