Chicago is know for hot dogs, baseball, and all sorts of good old-fashioned fun. What more could Dad want? Take Dad to a Cubs game at famous Wrigley Field. Albuquerque, New Mexico is another of the top spots for Dads. The city is close to the Sandia Mountains and offers plenty of outdoor activities that Dad will love! If your Dad is adventurous then he will enjoy a ride on the Sandia Peak Tramway to climb to almost 11,000 ft for amazing views. Or better yet, take him on a Hot Air Balloon ride. Additionally, there are numerous options for hiking, cruising on Route 66, and gambling Casinos!
Asheville, North Carolina

Another of the top spots for Dad is Asheville, North Carolina. Due to the fact that it’s home to a number of craft beer breweries, it’s sure to be a hit. Most of the breweries offer complimentary tours (with samples!) to visitors, as well. The Asheville area is also known for hiking. No matter your skill level, there are hundreds of trails that cross the Blue Ridge Mountains. Additionally you can check out the Biltmore Estate Trails or Linville Falls Plunge Basin Trailon a day trip.
Austin, Texas

Your Dad will love you if you take him to Austin! Not only is he going to be able to enjoy some of the best BBQ and Tex Mex food in the country, but Austin features quIte a few craft breweries too. You and Dad can also hike down one of Austin’s many hiking trails and then take a dip in a true Texas swimming hole. Some of the top spots to swim are Barton Springs Pool, Hamilton Pool, and Jacob’s Well. Last but not least, Dad can take a tour of the Circuit of the Americas, the only Formula 1 race in the US.
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

San Jose del Cabo, Mexico is packed with golf courses for Dad to enjoy. But if you and your Dad are adventurous, there are plenty of fun things to do here. Cabo is famous for whale watching, but that is usually more prevalent in January. In June though you can try deep sea sport fishing, snorkel or swim with whale sharks. Additionally you can hike up the Pedregal, go zip-lining, or learn to stand paddle board. In the evenings you can chow down on fish tacos and and depending on how hip your Dad is, party at at El Squid Roe.

Does your Dad love camping? Well Stone Mountain State Park in North Carolina is another of the top spots for him. First of all, this park is one of North Carolina’s best kept secrets. It is not near as crowded as other options around the state, but it offers everything Dad would want. If you decide to take Dad camping in Stone Mountain, there are plenty of things to do. Some of the things Dad will love include hiking, horseback riding, rock climbing and some of the best trout fishing in the state. You can plan and find camp reservations here.
Anywhere in Florida

Florida is like a made for Dad playground! Not only can Dad golf his heart out, but he can boat, beach, swim and snorkel.
